FIVE BASIC STAGES OF CHI - POWER

Chi-power, sometimes called Jing-power, is developed in stages. It is Prof Holt's opinion that there are five basic stages and he has assigned two numbers to each stage. The first number represents the level of muscular power, the second, the Chi-level.

STAGE 1
90/10 Chi - Hard Jing muscular power is at about 90% with Chi - Flow at 10%. This is the lowest level at which one can call this type of energy Chi.
STAGE 2
50/50 Hard soft Chi.- Muscle power and Chi are in equal proportions.
STAGE 3
20/80 Soft hard Chi. Now the force flows from the tendons rather than hard muscular contractions. The force feels like a vibration from within. The Chi - Jing becomes more internal, but it is still. not considered to be of a high level.
STAGE 4
10/90 Soft Chi. This is a high stage in which the Chi energy

is flowing from the centre, throughout the body and is beginning to control the physical movements to accomplish this stage, completing two meditative methods known as the Microcosmic Orbit and Grand Circulation of Chi.

STAGE 5
5/95 Nei - Chi (internal Jing). At this stage the action is supported almost entirely by Chi. A master of this form can circulate lifeforce at will to any part of his body. He can transmit this Chi - Force in a disruptive pulse of energy into pressure on his opponent to harm or heal.

Such ability is extremely rare today.

WHAT IS THE WAY?” A STUDENT QUESTIONED HIS SPIRITUAL MASTER.

THE WAY” IS YOUR DAILY LIFE" THE MASTER REPLIED
