Energy receiving exercises
Let us visualise the body as a human antenna of coiled wires, (fibres of the nervous system contain 600,000 miles), of extreme fineness, sealed in saline fluids, (which of course supply the ideal conductivity for electrical currents), and are capable of being manipulated into a variety of shape and forms through different Nei-Chi exercises.
The sheathing of the nerve fibres protects and also insulates them.
1. SKY DRAGON POSTURE – EARTH DRAGON POSTURE
Standing with the arms raised above the head or extended from the shoulders, parallel to the ground and with the feet bare (earthed).
2. SITTING DRAGON
Kneeling, thereby shortening the energy receiving posture, with the arms above the head or parallel to the ground.
3.TURTLE POSTURE
Lie flat on the ground in the form of a cross.
4. DEW STAR POSTURE
Lie flat on the ground in the form or shape of a four pointed star.
5. DEER POSTURE
Kneeling with arms turned inwards and the palms of each hand very nearly touching each other.
6. SQUATTING TIGER
Sitting or Seiza attitude position, with arms resting in the lap and legs crossed. (Effectively shutting off the flow of power outwards).
These exercises can be combined to form a focus point (portal), through which the mind can enter another state of consciousness.
